Earlier this year I took an Intro to Risograph (with Wren McDonald, lots of fun, strongly recommend it)… At some point I started to print some panels from my comics and I liked the results.

Not sure print making is my calling, but the process helped me unlock a new way of thinking about color for my work.

A collection of intensely calm music.

I wrote and recorded these songs, mostly by myself, throughout the years 2020 and 2021. I started going to a studio, once a week, after work, just to play around. Slowly and to my surprise, these songs emerged. The room was big and lost somewhere inside an old factory building. Some of that atmosphere might have found its way to the sounds.

Autobiógrafo is the comic that narrates the real lives, possible and impossible, of it’s two protagonists and authors: Fran López and Federico Reggiani.
Autobiógrafo was published over fifteen years in the website Historietas Reales, and today has come to an end. (Whenever today is).

These six electronic books compile all of the published pages. The adventure begins for you.

I: El perro Argos

Una autobiografía de impoluto realismo: la vecina de Reggiani le secuestra el perro y lo decapita, Reggiani le vuelve a poner la cabeza. López hace helado de frutilla sin frutillas y se disfraza de dinosaurio. Misterios y terror.

II: El enano y el ciempiés

Un ciempiés autoreplicante y un enano filosófico analizan qué diferencia hay entre la serie y lo único, entre el amor y la indiferencia. La conversación los lleva a contar la vida de López y Reggiani. Hacia la mitad del libro es difícil saber qué es la realidad, pero tampoco importa demasiado.

Cada día, un desayuno. Después, el universo desaparece hasta el desayuno siguiente. Con esa premisa, salió un libro. La vida es así.

Una historieta que consiste en mostrar cómo sus autores mueren en cada página. Un ejercicio de imaginativa depresión.

V: Fotocopias

López y Reggiani leen un fanzine en el que López y Reggiani se comportan como canallas. La investigación sobre los autores del engendro los llevará al borde de la inexistencia. Además, a Reggiani le duele la espalda y López se muda a U.S.A.
